UMC.org describes the United Methodist Men as: The General Commission on United

Methodist Men (UMM) involves men in a growing relationship to Jesus Christ and his church and provides resources and support for programs of evangelism, stewardship, and the needs of men. United Methodist Men leads the church’s scouting ministry, encourages participation in several programs serving at-risk youth and advocates for and supports men seeking to prevent domestic violence.

 

Through the UMM of Little River UMC, men in our congregation and community have opportunities to CONNECT, GROW, and SERVE. Our UMM is active in supporting various ministries throughout the church and community with their prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness. Gathering for speakers, mission and outreach projects, and supporting ministries such as the church-wide rummage sale, RiverKids family and youth ministry, and others, the UMM includes many individuals who represent the hands and feet of Christ’s ministry in our congregation and community.
