Megan Ward

Hello! I am Megan Ward. I am beyond delighted to be joining the Little River United Methodist Church Family. My family and I have moved from Spartanburg, SC to begin our adventure in Little River. I was born and raised in the Upstate of South Carolina. I have a B.S. degree in Special Education and Elementary Education from the University of South Carolina Upstate with additional coursework in psychology, intervention, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Behavioral/Emotional Disorders, and learning styles. I have worked and taught in a variety of settings: manager in retail and sales, teacher in all preschool and elementary ages of Sunday School, teacher in a church preschool, tutor for elementary students, teacher and interventionist in special education and general education classes of all grade levels, and leader/creator in multiple workshops for educators. However, my most precious and valued work has always been taking care of my family. My husband Jody and I have been married for 20 years and we have four children (three teenagers: Kayla, Justin, and Andrew; and Katherine, age 5). I am looking forward to building our future here at LRUMC and partnering with my brothers and sisters in Christ to bring God’s love to the community and all God’s children. Ephesians 5: 1-2 Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
